La Dolce Vita

It’s amazing what a baby free weekend can do to revive the depleting energy levels of a new-ish Mum.  I didn’t think I was all that tired, but upon return from Lucca I feel so much more alive and less stressed out.

So if you’re thinking about taking a weekend for yourself that’s Baby free don’t feel guilty, just do it!

It allowed me time to concentrate on MrLondonMum again, which was novel (read this post here about relationship changes after having a baby).  Since the birth of Baby London I suppose he’s been second best.  So it was nice to just be a duo for a while and talk about things non baby related for a bit. After all we are still our own people first and parents second, although the line is extremely fine.

Here are some of our pictures from Lucca, it’s an amazing walled City near to Pisa and a definite must visit place!

And now let’s finish this Lucca album with my final memory of Pisa.  This rather delightful sculpture at Pisa airport!
