Gaggle of Hen’s in Bath

I’m going to sound like a terrible Mother (I’m used to it now so I’m not overly concerned anymore), especially considering my last post.  But actually in the end I didn’t find it all that difficult leaving Baby London behind for my first weekend away.

Don’t get me wrong I text home regularly every morning and night to check he was ok, but ultimately I actually quite enjoyed the time off.

Firstly before I sound really un-caring you have to remember I was with Baby London until I left to catch a 7pm train on Friday from Paddington to Bath, and I knew I would be seeing him again on Sunday at around about 3pm.  So instead of the inner turmoil I was expecting to feel I felt like I could actually just relax, sleep, eat, drink and be merry and not worry about anything else in the world other than those simple things in life again (such as trying to convince a bouncer to let in a gaggle of drunk hens…  Unsurprisingly it didn’t work!).

I also knew it would probably be a long time before I got that kind of time to myself again!  And so I made sure I had fun and helped give one of my best friends the send off she deserved before her Wedding Day!

Starting off as we meant to carry on with some Champagne at London Paddington’s Searcys’.

We arrived at our home for the weekend.

And got the staff to work straight away by making us cocktails.

It wasn’t long before dessert was served…

It would have been rude not too…

We were of course appreciative of other sculpted beauties..!

And luckily I had my Boden coat with me as the April showers were quite persistent.

But after quick downpours the sun came out to play again!

Feeling rather peckish after a morning spent sunbathing in the pool at the top of the Thermae Spa we pigged out on all sorts of delights!

Note the ridiculous finger poking out!

We dolled ourselves up for the evening and played some good old hen party games.  Which are perhaps a bit too much for noting down here!  We all wore our favourite LBD, and I chose this one I bought recently from Zara.  I love it!

All in all I had an amazing weekend, lots of fun and drunken antics.  Most of which can’t be shared on here, which goes to show it was an extremely successful hen do!

But I’m making up for being away from Baby London with lots of kisses and cuddles.  I think he’s getting annoyed now… oh well! 😉
